Our Mission

We’re a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the early detection of breast cancer, with an emphasis on women under the age of 40 and men.

Inspired by athletes everywhere, local communities come together, fundraise, and help us detect potentially life threatening breast cancer occurrences.

Everyone Has A RIGHT To Know.

Why get involved?

Change the statistics! Did you know that 1 out of 8 women in the US will develop breast cancer and that 7% of these women will be under the age of 40?

Join Us

We continue to be inspired by athletes every day. However, being an elite athlete is certainly not a necessary criteria in order to be involved with our team. Men and women of all ages, race or affiliation have embarked in our common journey. It requires commitment, perseverance, and an unshakable belief in what we can do together.

Step ONE

Create your personal fundraising page.  Everyone begins here, whether you’re fundraising solo or with a team.  With a few simple clicks your personal fundraising page will be ready to go!

Step TWO

Team or Solo – Now that you’ve started your own fundraising page, feel free to build a team or join one that’s already set up.  This is optional since you can also go solo on your fundraising journey.

Now, thanks to our amazing & generous sponsors, we’d like to offer some additional incentives for your hard work as you climb the fundraising ladder and help ONE more person know if they are living with breast cancer.

We aim to provide a way for breast cancer to be detected in its earliest stage in order to prevent a growing and infinitely more serious problem.

Our grant program provides funding to breast centers nationally as a resource for thousands of men and women who do not qualify for government funding or other charitable resources in the detection of breast cancer.

Get Screened NOW

Barbells for Boobs has been able to successfully provide detection services in many states across the U.S. Our impact has not only raised awareness of the incidence of breast cancer under the age of 40, it has also provided resources to those that typically would not have access to the necessary screening and diagnostic procedures to detect breast cancer.
