7 Signs You Should Get Screened

Most women know that a lump in their breast could be cancer. That’s true! But you might not know some of these other common signs…

If you can say “Yes, that’s me!” or even “Hmm, that might be me,” to any of the following symptoms, it’s time to take action.  Schedule that doctor’s appointment. (We can help!)

Common warning signs of breast cancer:

  • breast or nipple pain
  • swelling, irritation, color change of breast or nipple
  • nipple retraction, peeling or flanking of nipple skin
  • new mole or a change in existing mole
  • nipple discharge
  • change in feeling/density of breast, including lumps
  • common signs of illness such as change in appetite, unexplained weight gain or loss, night sweats, hoarse or persistent cough

Any of these symptoms could be related to breast cancer, or they could be nothing. The only way to have peace of mind is to get screened. We’re here to help regardless of your gender, age, income, and insurance status. You have a #RightToKnow.
